CERC-ENVIS Activities January-June 2017 CERC‐ENVIS team in collaboration with Consumer Clubs visited different academic institutions. Students from different schools visited the centre. Team informed the concept of ENVIS as well as the theme i.e. “Eco labeling and Eco‐Friendly Products.” They also gave tips on how one can become environment-friendly, conserve the environment, segregate the solid waste, composting at home and it’s benefits. They also participated in programmes organised in-house and also organised by other organizations. Also conducted outreach programmes at different places of Ahmedabad with an NGO SAATH. The objective was to bring awareness among students/participants as a consumer and how their activities affect the environment and bring change in climate. Also distributed posters, pamphlets and newsletters. Organised/participated in following programmes: World Consumer Rights Week from13-17 March 2017 to mark World Consumer Rights Day which falls on March 15 by joining a global campaign 'Building a Digital World Consumers can Trust'.
