Centric Community Projects

Centric Community Projects works

with smaller charities and non-profit organisations

to help them operate and develop by offering

free space for their projects.

We are also able to help new businesses, created

by the disadvantaged, to reduce their overheads

and help them to become self sufficient.

Available space can be anything from an office, retail

space or industrial property for use as work or storage,

retail, service delivery, meeting areas, rehearsal space,

art studios, training – in fact anything!

Centric has already helped over 500 organisations

big and small who otherwise wouldn’t have had

the facilities to carry out their charitable activities.

Charity Hubs

We have numerous charity hubs across the country.

These are buildings where space is let to multiple charities.

This space can be used for a range of activities such as:

meeting space offices storage rehearsals training

One benefit of becoming a Centric charity hub tenant is that you

are spending your day surrounded by other charities. This provides

an excellent platform for networking and potentially joining up on

some of your charitable activities. It becomes a centre piece within

the local community and a ‘one stop shop’ for anyone seeking

to engage with charities.

Any charitable or non-profit organisation is welcome

to apply for space in our hubs.

Retail Outlets

With our growing number of retail outlets, these can be

used in a range of different ways from a traditional charity shop,

to a street presence from which to deliver your service.

We have many shops across the UK that are trading

as a traditional charity shop. In the current climate when

donations and grants are hard to achieve a shop provides

an excellent income stream for any charity.

During your tenancy there are no overheads such as rent, rates and

utility bills, meaning that this income stream is unrestricted and

enables you to deliver your charitable aims and objectives.

Other charitable organisations have used their shops as a drop-in

for their service users. As an additional or replacement workspace

to further their reach within their local communities.

Storage

Some of our buildings are designated for storage only.

These facilities are available to unclog your homes and offices.

Storage facilities can be provided for most items,

providing they are not hazardous and can be stored

in a neat and tidy manner.

Are your houses, garages or offices packed to the brim

with donated items? Maybe you need to store things

that are seasonal that you don’t need access to

all year round?

Either way, one of our storage units could free up space

and all without any cost to you.

What our clients say...

“Thank you Centric, landlords, and everyone

who’s played a part in establishing this fantastic

community resource in Brighton. You’ve made

a crucial difference to the development of our charity

and the health and well-being of a large number

of people in need.”Gary Pargeter

Project Manager Lunch Positive

“Due to loss of some of our funding

we were no longer able to afford to remain

in our current office space. This meant staff

were losing their office and meeting space,

with no alternative place to work.”Shelley Black

CEO Fairweather

“We are saving about £30,000

a year on storage space

for all of our donated items.”Sharon

Mission Direct

“Has made a difference having a space

for veterans and their families providing a service of care

and support in the community.”Nick Zaver
