The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) Classification of Labeling and Chemicals is the new standard for the labeling of chemicals. GHS is an international approach to hazard communication, providing agreed crite-ria for classification of chemical hazards, and a standardized approach to label elements and safety data sheets. This update to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) will provide a common and coherent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating hazard informa-tion on labels and safety data sheets. Once implemented, the revised standard will improve the quality and consistency of hazard information in the workplace, making it safer for workers by providing easily under-standable information on appropriate handling and safe use of hazardous chemicals. This course will cover all updates that your workers need to know to be compliant with the new recommendations.

This two day career coaching/job development training covers basic coaching skills, techniques and “best practices” for job development. Specific areas to be covered during the training include job development topics such as identifying and understanding labor market information, creating relationships with business leaders, matching for success, assessing and overcoming barriers to employment, and developing an employment plan. Coaching topics include defining coaching vs. case management, coaching foundations, strengths assessment, mind mapping, COACH models, and much more.

LEADERSHIP The Leader as Coach training challenges leaders to have the influence they need to achieve complex organizational goals. Through greater self-awareness of leadership strengths, values, patterns of high performance, communication style and how they create more effective conversations with stakeholders, team members, vendors, etc. leaders will gain an understanding of how to make their vision for the organization a reality. Leaders will learn a straightforward coaching model and coaching skills to implement in the workplace immediately. Additionally, the course covers: when is the right time to coach, delegation, powerful feedback, multiple perspectives, expectations and tools for goal planning. At the completion of the course, leaders will walk away with a Leadership Effective Plan to implement key learning from the experience.
