Next generation of small scale reproducible cell culturing
The Cellab® Bioreactor System consists of a disposable set equipped with different single use bioreactor confi gurations including:
� modules with hollow fi ber membranes � inserts with fl at membranes or � 3D scaffold holders
and a reusable docking station which operates the disposable set.
It combines affordable single-use cell culturing with precise automation for standardization of lab scale and small scale applications.
Well adapted for a variety of applications
The modular platform design of the disposable set allows for selection of the bioreactor confi guration best suited to the needs for each specifi c application. It is useable for adherent as well as for suspension cell cultures.
Weekend-free automated cell culturing – Suffi cient & continuous nutrient supply during the entire cultivation process
No additional infrastructure required – Operates with a standard CO2-incubator providing temperature and CO2 control
Continuous oxygenation – Integrated gas transfer module provides oxygenation via gas permeable hollow fi ber membranes
High-density cell culturing – 2-compartment technology achieves 10-50x higher cell product concentrations
Extended medium exchange cycles – Large 1.2 L medium reservoir allows for long term cultivation without manual interventions
