e-Flow TechnologyThe denim industry consumes high amounts of water and energy. One pair of jeans requires 70 liters of water with conventional washing recipes.

As a sustainability leader, DyStar developed a range of auxiliaries for the optimization of chemical and water usage in the denim industry. Together with new e-Flow technology innovated by Jeanologia, a variety of finishing effects on denim can be achieved saving large quantities of water, chemicals and energy.

Air, water and chemicals are introduced into the

e-Flow machine, creating a mixture of nano-bubbles

and moist air.

e-Flow Technology saves:

The nano-bubbles layer transports the chemicals to the garment, creating

eff ects in a closed system.

The mixture is injected into a rotating tumbler containing the denim

garments.
