When Angela McCool met Russ Perry at a dinner

party, they both had dates. “But the moment

we met, there was an instant buzz between

us,” Angela recalls. While everyone gathered

for a group cooking session, Angela could feel

Russ cooking something up between them. The

next week, Russ tracked down Angela’s phone

number and quickly asked her out. Their first

date lasted a whole weekend, and seven years

later—after a Christmas Eve proposal and a

15-month engagement—they said “I do.”
