SCHOOL COMMISSION CANDIDATE BIOSMy name is Anna Kaminski. I grew up and attended Catholic school in Poland. I am mom of2nd grade St. Pius X student, Malina. Having been part of the St. Pius X School family for 3years, we value and appreciate the dedication of the administration, faculty, and staff to striveto offer the best combination of religious and academic education for our daughter. I amlooking forward and blessed to be a part of the School Commission to serve as a consultativebody to advise and support the St. Pius X School.

Hi, my name is Amy, and this would be my rst year with the St. Pius X School Commission.Last year I helped with the 2020 school auction. I'm hoping to bring what I learned during thattime to help contribute to this committee. I believe that school is a good place where childrenlearn how to get along with others and make safe choices along with important goals for theirfuture. I have worked at UWNW for 12 years. Also, during my free time, I do outreach forhomeless families with a local organization.

My name is Duy Le, parent of St. Pius X School 7th grade student Grace Le, and 3rd gradestudent Nathan Le. I was born in Vietnam 50 years ago. I am the oldest in a Catholic family offour boys. Both of our children have been to St. Pius X School since Pre-K. I am a parentvolunteer and have had the opportunity to be involved at St. Pius’ school activities. I certainlylook forward to inserting myself where I am needed. I would like to engage myself in theSchool Commission as I want to know the happenings of our school faith community, and tocontribute my knowledge and experience. I believe as a Catholic, it is important that wecontinue to give our time, talent, and treasure to our school and church as our children’s faith, academic, social, and emotional successes are strongly dependent on the incredible worksthat we, their parents, collaboratively produce and bring to the table for their future.

Dear Teachers, Parents and Students,

As we approach the end of this school year I am proud to have taught PE full time at twoCatholic schools for twenty years. I have achieved my goal of teaching twenty years in a row. Ifeel super emotional to tell you that I will not be returning to teach PE at St. Pius X schoolnext fall. I am happy to enter this new phase of my life, but I will miss all the teachers andstudents.

My plan is to still teach three days a week to “phase” into retirement. I am excited to be ableto have longer weekends at our home in Central Washington until my wife and I are ready forfull time retirement.

I feel proud of my work at St. Pius X. Arriving at school excited to provide my classes withnew activities and fun games has provided me with inner joy. I have felt genuinely appreciatedand that is the greatest feeling ever.

Sincerely,

Mr. Feeney
