LEARNING IN ACTION WORKSHOP SERIES FEBRUARY 17- GRANTSEEKING & GRANTWRITING by Community Partners This workshop will emphasize the basic aspects of grantseeking and grantwriting, including types and sources of funding, grant terminology, and characteristics of fundable proposals. Come away with some practical knowledge about the process, research techniques and skills it takes to be a proposal writer. MARCH 30 – ALUMNAE PANEL: LIFE AFTER MHC CBL This road map will help you learn from past CBL leaders as you begin to take action steps on your own path. The panelists will reflect on how they listened to their inner voice and will share their personal experiences that inspired them to want to make a difference in their own communities. Come hear what opportunities await you after graduating from the CBL Program. *Please join us in Dwight 101 APRIL 6 –TRANSFERABLE SKILLS by Kelly Woods, Associate Director of Career Advising CDC Not sure how to identify or describe the skills you learned in your summer internship or CBL fellowship? Come away from this workshop knowing what skills you already have that can be transferred to the post-college workplace and how to speak about them more articulately. *Please bring a laptop, cover letter and resume.
