Test Accommodations for Students With Test Accommodations for Students With DisabilitiesDisabilities
• Large Print– Online accommodated form
– Provides a larger type-size that may be adjusted by students
• Tests Read Aloud– For operational tests, an online accommodated form provides audio.
– For field tests, a script must be ordered from LDOE to read aloud to students.
• Braille– Provides students with a braille version of the test
– Must be ordered from Pacific Metrics
– The test administrator must enter student responses online.

• Communication Assistance– A script is provided to use for signing or cueing the test to students who
are hearing-impaired.
– Script must be ordered from LDOE.
– Students must test in a small group.
• Answers Recorded−Allowed for students who are unable to use a keyboard or write
responses
−Administered individually to allow the student to dictate or sign their responses
• Assistive Technology– Calculator may be used for entire EOC test if an accommodation.

• Extended/Adjusted Time– Student must be given sufficient time to respond to every test question.
– Tests must be completed within scheduled testing dates, including makeup testing dates.

• Transferred Answers – Allowed for students who are unable to use a keyboard
– Test administrator must enter responses online exactly as student wrote them.
• Other – Must not breach security or purpose of test

• Added Retest Classes for each subject area – Automatically populates potential retesters
• Added a report that lists all Special Ed, Section 504, and LEP students that have NOT had accommodations assigned
• Modified student testing environment– Moved resources and tools
– Added an undo/redo feature for constructed-response items
– Added a message informing the student if his or her Internet connection is dropped

• CSV Grade File – Allows School Test Coordinators and Teachers to
generate a CSV file similar to the class report
• Technology Coordinator Menu– Allows District Technology Coordinators access to
school scheduling and registration information via the EOC Tests system
• NEW EOC Browser is available from the DTC, STC, and Technology Coordinator menus. The browser may be downloaded prior to registration.
– The old version of the EOC browser (purple icon) should be removed and a new version must be downloaded to all computers that will be used for testing. The new version has a copper icon.

To deliver EOC tests on PC and Macintosh computers, the following must be configured on each computer used for student testing:
