The colonists are happy they have a lot of new land to settle BUT WAIT! The British issued a proclamation after the war that stated all of the land west of the Alleghany Mts. Would be left for the Native Americans This was called the Proclamation of 1763. HOORAY?

PROCLAMATION OF 1763WHY? The British wanted to prevent future conflicts with the Native Americans, so they kept the land for them. Colonists were angry they had wanted that land for themselves.
