1. The used nuclear fuel is radioactive . It must be sealed up and buried for thousands of years to allow the radioactivity to die away.

2. For all that time it must be kept safe from accidents. This is difficult.

4. Nuclear power generation will produce a lot of heat . This needs plenty of water to cool it down . The sea water temperature will increase and thus the growth of algae, resulting in large amounts of carbon dioxide and the marine life will die.

ConclusionFrom the project, we found that:

People concern more about the development of nuclear power

The development of nuclear power is controversial

Nuclear is not safe enough

We think:Tidal, wind or solar powers can

be used to guarantee people’s safety.

Less electricity should be consumed, fuel used for generating electricity can be reduced.

Safety are more important.
