case study at agenda málaga: museums and the web 2.0: the museothyssen.org new strategy
DESCRIPTION
The Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, concerned about what cultural institutions were doing online and how they were interacting with social networks, began working with other institutions and universities on internet research projects. Javier Espadas presented a research conducted in May 09 about websites and their visibility, focusing on 100 of the best museums worldwide and their presence on the web. The new strategy of the website museothyssen.org recently re-launched with a focus on social networking, visibility and accessibility and this was presented by Guillermo Miranda.TRANSCRIPT
