DESCRIPTION

This session will look at the applications that M2M supports, as well as the devices that are enabling these applications. The session will also discuss the role of M2M capabilities in rural applications.Case studies will be presented that demonstrate how M2M technology and devices are being used in applications that affect our daily lives. Applications such as monitoring and providing data on water quality, monitoring systems for an offshore gas project, tracking overseas cargo shipments, people tracking in remote areas, and the ability to monitor remote assets globally will all be discussed.
