introduces the Carter Digital Depth Gauge. Used to help set up and calibrate widebelt

sanders, the Digital Depth Gauge improves output and reduces abrasive belt costs.

Over 90% of the widebelt sanders in operation today are set up incorrectly. The result is

inconsistency, streaking, and poor surface quality on panels. It also means that belt life is

shortened considerably, increasing downtime, maintenance expense, and belt costs.

The Digital Depth Gauge has a stable base for accuracy and repeatability, offers accuracy to

0.0005 in., an easy-to-read digital readout, simple selection of inches or millimeters, and an

electronic zeroing function for quick comparisons between measurements.

After running a sample panel through your widebelt sander, the Carter DDG gives you a

precise look at the performance of each of your sanding units based on the amount of material

removed. Recalibration of the heads will result in the quality improvements and cost-savings

you are seeking.
