How to use Log Me In
Open web browser
Go to “secure.logmein.com”
Click “Start free trial” on Pro
Fill out necessary information
Click “Create Account”
Click “Download and Install Software”
Click “Save File”
Click “Continue”
Open your email
Click the link to verify your LogMeIn account
Open your “Downloads Folder”
Double-click “LogMeIn.msi” to install
Click “Run this Program”
Click the box
Click “Next”
Click “Next”
Click “Next”
Click “Next”
Click “Next”
Status box will appear
Click “Yes” to install LogMeIn
Click “Finish”
LogMeIn Control Panel and Client will open
Click “Log Me In”
Enter necessary information
Click “Log in”
Double-click to manually open control panel
Click to disable LogMeIn
Click “Yes” to disable
LogMeIn is no longer accessible
Turn-on to get started
Getting started.
We’ll use an iPhone to remotely access this PC
On your iPhone, install LogMeIn app
Enter necessary information
Tap Log-in
Your registered PC name is displayed
Tap the PC name
Options will display
Tap to remotely control PC
Remote Control Hints will display
Tap “Continue to Computer”
LogMeIn remote session will display in your desktop
You are notified that your PC is online
Current display of PC will appear in your iPhone

Tap button for settings
Tap to select scroll mode
Select “Mouse Moves”
Tap “Settings”

Remote session ended
Remotely accessing PC files
Tap
Tap “Users”
Tap “Carlo” or whatever your User Name is
Tap “Desktop”
Double-tap any file on the list
Dialogue box will appear
Tap “Next” (if you are happy with the settings)
The image file will open on your iPhone
iPhone opened the file from PC.
Tap “Done” if finished
It will go back to desktop
Moving files remotely
(Large files take much time to move)
Let’s tidy the desktop first.
My tidy desktop
Tap to refresh
Tidy desktop will appear
Tap to view options
Tap “New Folder”
Dialogue box will appear
Enter “New Folder” as folder name
Tap “OK”
NEW FOLDER will appear
Tap and hold “alpha.docx”
“Alpha.docx” will look like this
Tap anywhere
Hover the “alpha.docx” to “NEW FOLDER”
Tap “Drop Here”
Tap “Move”
The new desktop

Tap to end remote session
Swipe back until there
Tap
Tap “Log Out”
