Careers Interviews

• For every year 11 pupil.• Interviews are usually arranged in morning registration.• You are allowed to attend during lesson time.• You can request an interview – see Miss Clough.• Available to pupils on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.• I will be available on Year 11 Parents’ Evening.

Why have a Careers Interview?

• Help you decide what to do and make a plan.• Help you consider job / subject options.• Check there are no barriers.• Help you feel more confident.• Know how / when to apply for courses or

apprenticeships.• Know how to find out more.

How to achieve your career aims?

• GCSES Achieve the best you can. Be realistic in what you apply for.

• Attendance Employers, Sixth Forms & Colleges look for good attendance.

• Apply Early Don’t be at the back of the queue.• Experience Get involved in school activities,

voluntary work.• Have a plan And a back-up plan – just in case!
