SHORT CAPS

Part NumbersPlease use the following system for part numbers:

VSC [ID in decimals] X [Length in decimals] . For instance, a cap with ID of .062" and length of 3/8" would bepart number VSC 062X.375.

Stock SizesMost sizes stocked in 1/2", 1" and 1-1/2" lengths. Short Caps

are also available in almost any length in .062" increments witha minimum length of .187". For sizes not shown here, pleasesee Standard Short Cap and L-Cap sections.

LONG CAPS

Long Caps come in diameters ranging from 3/16" through 3-1/2". Most sizes areavailable in inside lengths up to 5-1/4", in1/16" increments and many are available to8" lengths. Excellent as pipe protectors,grips, caps for boiler tubes, connectors andcable end seals. Tough and durable, LongCaps are also used in many masking applications.

STANDARD SHORT CAPS



TAPERED CAPS AND PLUGSTapered and flexible for easy installation and removal, these

provide a snug fit as either a cap or plug. Protect threads andkeep dirt and moisture out of pipes, valves, tubes, etc.

When using as a cap, “I” dimension should be at least .020"

per inch less than diameter to be capped. When using as aplug, “L” dimension should be at least .020” per inch larger thanopening. Larger diameters may require more interference.

Just like a dome plug, but with holesthat permit air ventilation and heat dissipation. It leaves you with an attractive cover for unsightly or rough-edged chassis holes. Twenty sizes foruse in 1/2" to 4" diameter holes. Quickand easy installation with only fingertippressure.

VENT PLUGS

PAPER TUBE PLUGSThe 1” to 6” polyethylene paper tube

plugs come with convenient fingerpulltabs (one or two, depending on size),and are 1/2" deep. Standard colour isnatural white. Other colours available(minimum order 10,000).

The 8" to 12" diameters only come inblack high density polyethylene. Theyhave a wide flange for easy removalfrom tubes, and are 1-1/4" deep.
