Lana, Bonita, Larry, London and Lara became children. We assisted the birth of Lavender. Lily and Esmeralda were both pregnant. Crystal, Fonso and the twins went on vacation. Jaelle aborted.

The Lindor family was having a lot of fun on their vacation.

The vacation came to an end sooner than it should.

“I think your grandma is really cool. She gives us cookies when we play soccer in her yard!”

“It’s Xavi, I’ve told you”

“We don’t have grandparents, Lana”

“I know, who do we bring then?”

“We should skip classes that day!” Bonita gestured to prove her point.

“Don’t be silly. It makes no sense. We’ll just tell Ms. Broke that we have no grandparents. We’re probably not the only ones!”

“Aren’t you shy about that?” the dreamer twin smiled.

“No..” Lana said, looking straight. What she felt was not that. She felt sad.

“I have an idea!” Bonita shouted, enthusiastic.

“Well, well, kids. Silence! We’ll make the arrangements for the show later today”

“I have an idea!”

“What is it Bonita? Do you want to share it with the class?”

“No… It’s just that…”

After school, the family gathered for a nice summer afternoon in the yard.

Seeing that her father wouldn’t do that for them, she started to walk to her room. She needed to be alone. There was something wrong.

Crystal sighed. This was all her fault.

Fonso looked at his wife in shock. Since the vacation, she seemed relieved and relaxed. He couldn’t see why would she die.

He sat next to Crystal. No, she couldn’t be dead. She had fainted. It was all a bad dream!

“I’m sorry, children”

Telling the girls hadn’t been easy. Knowing they were alone in the world, wasn’t any easier.

The truth hurt like a knife. Their mother was dead, they wouldn’t see her ever again.

“Goodnight Fonso. Why are you calling us?”

“Crystal died and I know she wanted me to do this.”

“Crystal is dead… I’m sorry honey. Feel free to come live next to us. Your dad will understand that you need help.”

“Thank you Mother. Oh and… It was suicide. The autopsy has been done. Pills. We’ll be there in the morning.”

“I wish things had been different. I wish you were here in every single birthday party we all shared. I wish your daughters would be here to play with Ice and the others. I’ll see you tomorrow. Try not to fall asleep while driving.”

As promised, the Lindor family got there in the morning. David was the one who opened the door and saw the twins. He recognized his eyes in them right away.

“Mom, thank you for everything.”

“You’re welcome. Everything’s going to work out in the end”

“Fonso!”, Emilian said, tears in his eyes.

“Oh my God, Lana, they’re twins!”

Ice soon got out of the house to see what was going on. They got along immediately.

“I’m sorry Fonso. I should have forgiven her and accept your decisions”

“No Dad, no time for regrets. Let’s just enjoy this day.”

Fonso smiled. Not a casual smile, but a genuine one. For a long time, he hadn’t felt so happy. Only his dear Crystal was missing.

All his family was extremely happy. Even the twins looked more cheerful. There was just one person he still hadn’t seen.

Leandro, his nephew.

The tot automatically understood the man wasn’t his father with neon sunglasses on and

“I’m going out, Bonita,” Fonso informed his daughter, “the nanny will take care of you”

“No, you’re not Dad. There is someone waiting for you in the living room”

“Your mother resurrected me.”

“It’s alright Honey. Mom was trying to make your father see things.”

“Oh Mom, I’ve missed you so much. Can’t believe it’s really you!”

Evangeline was still the angel with a Lolita dress. She always did what was best for everyone around her. And she resurrected Crystal.

Things after Death made people realize their mistakes and Crystal was just happy she was given the chance to make it up.
