Capital Travel has come into existence 19 years back with few staff and limited resources. Since

then with hard work and striving enthusiasm Capital Travel has achieved the reputation and is one of the leading Tour Operators today.

Tourism sector of the country continues to play a vital role in the development of the economy with

the help of many Tour Operators and Travel Agents, Resorts and Airlines in the Maldives. Capital Travel is among the leaders of this contribution.

Resort & Hotel Supplies department with line of cutleries, flatware, glassware, porcelain etc. Also Capital Travel is developing an island for the agriculture, safari vessels and for other trade activities.

C apital Group is a network of companies owned and managed by the principle company Capital Travel &

Tours Private Limited, formed in the Maldives in 1990. The prime activity of the company was initially to operate as an in-bound travel agent in the Maldives. Today, Capital Travel has well over 2000 partners around the world and is classed as one of the largest and reliable as well as efficient tour operators in the Maldives. The company has allotment contracts with all the leading resorts and hotels in the Maldives and operates.

M r. Yousuf Riffath, the founder of the company is engaged

in the business round the clock. As Chief Executive Office of the Group, he carefully coordinates all the operations of the business with his years of personal experience. Capital Group is therefore one of the most reputable and respectable business groups in the Maldives.

M r. Riffath developed his business skills and acumen at

a very young age. His public relations and personal attention to the business in all its aspects has meant that the group business achieves its objects and has never reported any loss in any of its financial years. Furthermore, his energetic and tireless involvement in the business is the key to the success of the group.

History of theCompany

The Group carefully diversified its business operation engaged

in trading over the last 15 years. These include office stationeries and equipment, motorcycles, cars and other vehicles as well as the establishment of a vehicle service centre.

The group also now has launched Resorts and Hotel Supply (Ranging

of kitchen and catering equipment, Linens, mainly servicing the resorts and hotels in the Maldives. Its exclusive European Products, Capital Resorts and Hotel supply been formed 2000 and has become the largest supplier in the Maldives in less than a year. The Group now has exclusivity of several international brands such as Pujadas, Bron coucke, Durobor, Tango, Felix, Giesser Messer, Saro, Grand Master,

Arcos, Jay, Nermarker and many more.

As a Tour Operator and Travel Agent, Capital Group has associates

and partners around the world with whom the working relationship has been excellent for several years. The main clientele of are from Italy, Japan, Portugal, England, Russia, Greece and Germany. The company also operates charters annually during the high season.

BA (Hons) in business administration. He started his employment journey at Capital Travel and Tours Pvt Ltd in 1991. His hard working, effectiveness and efficiency added exceptional speed to step up the company to the next level.

M r Mohamed Naseem has joined Capital Travel & Tours as an

Operations Manager after spending almost 9 years with One&Only group in the Maldives.

Since 1997, he worked in different areas of travel industry and gained a

wide range of knowledge in Maldives and abroad. He was assisting member for the pre-opening team in One&Only

Reethi Rah, Maldives and member of re-opening team of One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives. During the 9 years of time with One&Only group, he worked in Front office and Sales department, gained further training in Singapore.

H e believes the sustainable bottom line will achieve for a company

creating a fun working environment.

To achieve company goals, the most important thing for a Tour Operator

is always try to exceed customer expectations and make them vow`s. ( feel them welcome at all time )

the biggest travel association in the world, serving as president of Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tours Operators (MATATO) from 2009 to 2010, serving as Vice President of MATATO 2006 -2008, serving as president of Employment Bureau (Maldives) Pvt Ltd., serving as a President of Astrabon Maldives Pvt Ltd, serving as a Founder member and head of promotions of Live-aboard Association of Maldives(LAM), 2006 – 2008. Also with the recognition of his support in the Tourism Industry, Mr.Mohamed Nasheed (President of the Republic of Maldives) appointed Mr. Yousuf Riffath as a Government Board Director for Public Relations Corporation Limited founded 2011.

Mrs. Aygun recently joined to Capital Travel as Sales/Reservation

executive for CIS countries and Russia.

She has joined tourism industry since 2008 in her home country

Azerbaijan. Taking responsible positions like ticketing/sales agent gave her chance to gain international tourism experience.

Aygun has finished successfully the training courses related travel industry such as “Management and Hospitality tourism”, Amadeus GDS.

The interest of exploring new cultures, destinations made

her to move Maldives. While living in Maldives, she got in touch with resorts and acquired good enough knowledge about Maldives.

Knowing Russian language gives her opportunity to take care of

not only Russian market, also Russian speaking all CIS market! Her aim, to create sufficient network between these countries and develop Russian & CIS market, increase number of tourists travelling to Maldives, assist them with any questions related to their holiday.

Aygun is also fluent in Turkish language, which means she frankly

helps to our Turkish clients as well.

She is enthusiastic, hard working and enjoys being in the team of Capital

Travel!

She has gained experience and knowledge in the trade business from
