The EIS is an Enterprise Information System that is used to track data for all people and organizations related to or served by the Department of Health and Human Services.

The EIS allows for the integration of data across all service populations and providers.

Each of the CANS assessments have what is called Dimensions (or pages)

The first two dimensions are Introduction and Assessment. They need to be completed on each individual child. The other dimensions will be completed according to the instructions within the assessment itself. Example: if a score of 1,2 or 3 on the Developmental

questions within the Life Functioning Domain then you would proceed to complete the Developmental Needs Module Dimension.
