Film and TV movie credits include the critically acclaimed film The Ride, nominated Best Movie, Best Screenplay, Best Writer and Best Actor at the Monte Carlo Film Festival. Other credits include, Anything But Christmas written by Peter Woodward, starring Christopher Lloyd, Elaine Hendrix and Sean Michael Kyer for Alliance Films and ION Television US, BBC UK, NBC Universal UK and M6 in France. CCI’s movie/mini-series, I Was a Rat, a UK-Canada coproduction for BBC and CBC, starring Brenda Fricker and Tom Conti and based on the Philip Pullman novel, received the Banff Rocky Award for Best Family movie. Fast Food High written by Tassie Cameron & Jackie May starring Alison Pill and Gil Bellows. Amos Adetuyi is an award winning television and feature film producer with 20 years of domestic and international co-production experience. Thomas Michael

Thomas is an award-winning producer, writer, actor, and filmmaker. At the age of 17, he created his own comedy series, Y B Normal? for the Comedy Network. Since 2005, he has made four feature films: bilingual comedy Greg & Gentillon; international cult hit Hank and Mike; his directorial debut, Running Mates; and most recently, survivor thriller Backcountry.

In 2005, Fella Films completed its first feature film, Greg and Gentillon. The film won the DISCOVERY AWARD at the 2005 Calgary International Film Festival, screened at festivals around the world before being released theatrically in the U.S. by Anthem Pictures; and in Canada by Alliance Films. The company’s next feature, Hank and Mike, starring Joe Mantegna (Searching for Bobby Fischer, Godfather 3) and Chris Klein (American Pie, Election) was released theatrically by Magnolia Pictures in the U.S. and in Canada by eONE Entertainment. It also sold around the world, including a 3 month 10-screen theatrical run in Prague. In 2010, Fella Films completed its third feature film, Running Mates. The film stars legendary icon Henry Winkler (Happy Days, Arrested Development), DJ Qualls (Roadtrip, Hustle & Flow) and Graham Green (Dances With Wolves, Twilight). The film won BEST COMEDY at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for BEST WRITING. As it stands, Fella Films is in post-production on its latest feature, Backcountry, a thriller set in the woods of Northern Canada. Christina Fon

Two-time Gemini Award and Peabody Award-Winner Christina Fon handles a wide range of duties as a producer with Rezolution Pictures International, responsible for sales, business and legal affairs, as well as broadcaster and funder relations.

As a producer and executive producer, she is currently working on Rumble: the Indians Who Rocked the World, an internationally-financed feature length documentary set to air in 2016, as well as the dramatic

series Dirty Red Boys, being developed by Rezolution with Jeff Barnaby (writer and director of the acclaimed feature drama debut, Rhymes for Young Ghouls).

Christina is also producer and executive producer on director Tracey Deer’s dramatic series Mohawk Girls, a lighthearted look at four women trying to find their way on the rez: it’s Sex in the City - Mohawk style (aired fall 2014 on APTN and OMNI). A third season of Mohawk Girls is currently in development.

In 2009 and 2010, Fon received the Canada Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, honouring the best in multicultural programming, for Club Native, directed by Tracey Deer, as well as for the Peabody Award winning Reel Injun.

Fon is co-owner and executive producer at Minority Inc., an interactive gaming company formed with Rezolution in 2010. Minority’s first game, Papo & Yo, has been critically acclaimed & lauded as one of the trail-blazing titles of the new empathy gaming genre. She recently executive produced Minority’s second empathy game, Spirits of Spring, the story of a teenage boy on a quest to overcome bullying, which was featured among the App Store’s Best New Games in over 130 countries by Apple.

Prior to joining the Rezolution team, Fon worked for ten years in feature film and television series production.

Rezolution Pictures International is an Aboriginal-owned film and television production company based in Montreal. Since 2001, Rezolution Pictures has been at the forefront of Canada’s cultural landscape, having attracted over $25 million to develop and produce award-winning projects, including the Peabody Award-winning Reel Injun, which has been sold to countries around the world and received three Gemini awards in 2010.

The Screen Actors Guild of America sent copies of Reel Injun to every Casting Association across the United States to use as a reference when casting Native characters in their films. Logline: How to define love? 6 actress playing Juliet, 6 different countries. A series about love as a cultural and political pathos and how society shapes the perceptions of love.

Synopsis: Every year, 100 thousand love letters are sent to Shakespeare’s Juliet in Verona. Those letters are diligently answered by a team of dedicated volunteers

known as Juliet's secretaries. Taking those missives as the narrative conductor of the series, we’ll visit 6 different countries in which the play is staged, looking at how romantic Love is represented. From a war torn building in Sarajevo where a Muslin girl falls in love with a Christian boy to the violent outskirts of Sao Paulo where young people may not reach their 21st birthday; from a Sultan’s palace in Turkey where women do not choose their Romeo to an old people’s home in England where Juliet is an old actress; from the youthful summer streets of Montréal to the balcony of Juliet in Verona, we will follow the staging of the play through many Juliets, have a close look at love on a personal and literary level and weave it through a moving and entertaining series about people, culture and politics.

Jonathan Barker

Jonathan is a world leader in 3D film production and distribution, specializing in IMAX®/Giant Screen natural history and science documentaries, as with SK’s current hit film, Flight of the Butterflies 3D. Michael Hennessy is the President and CEO of the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA), based in Ottawa. The CMPA is Canada’s leading trade association for independent film, television and interactive content producers. Mr. Hennessy has had a varied career with over 25 years in the public and private sectors in communications. His expertise has contributed to shaping the evolution of telecommunications, broadcasting, Internet and wireless public policy and regulation in

Canada. This experience across sectors and markets has focused primarily on advocacy around the impact of competition, convergence and innovation on economic growth and consumer choice to promote the interests of the different stakeholders he has represented.

Jan Miller

International consultant for the CMPA, Jan draws from 25 years working in the global market place as consultant, connector and trainer. Jan was the architect and director of the Strategic Partners co-production workshop for 15 years, and also remains one of the driving forces behind the internationally renowned TransAtlantic Partners Coproduction training programme. Stéphane Cardin

Stéphane Cardin, VP, Industry and Public Affairs, has over fifteen years of experience in the film, television and digital media industries. Since joining the organization in 2006, Mr. Cardin maintains an ongoing dialogue with industry and government stakeholders, leads the development of policies and programs, and reinforces the positioning of the CMF within the industry.

Previously, Mr. Cardin was Director of Tax Credits with Quebec’s cultural funding agency, Société de développement des entreprises culturelles

(SODEC), and was a member of SODEC’s management committee. He has also held positions with the Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office (CAVCO) and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Mr. Cardin holds a Graduate Diploma in Communications Studies from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

James Weyman brings over 25 years in the creative industries to his current role as Manager, Industry Initiatives, at the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Weyman oversees a $15 million portfolio of programs and services that support business development for industries including film, television, new media, book and magazine publishing. This includes funds for content production,

marketing, domestic and international business development, and for creating new strategic opportunities for business growth and collaboration. Mr. Weyman

manages the OMDC Film Fund, OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund and the new OMDC Collaboration and Innovation Fund, among others.
