The open heifers are selected off the very top of each respected breeder’s keeper pen and are fresh genetics that are bred to work for the long haul. TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds.

BIDDING: All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.

DISPUTES: In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.

LIABILITIES: All persons attend the sale at the their own risk.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.

PREGNANCY INFORMATION: All bred females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, who has provided the seller with an estimated length of gestation. The estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service. Bohrson Marketing Services will provide supplement sheets with breeding services provided for the purchaser.

HEALTH: All sale animals have met all necessary health requirements and it is the buyer’s responsibility and expense to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bohrson Marketing Services assume no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.

PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

SHIPPING: Shipping of cattle, semen and/or embryos are the responsibility and expense of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to provide shipping instructions at settlement on sale day.

This is perhaps one of the sleepers. I just can’t say enough about this Three Axes daughter, she’s a very deep and soggy bodied heifer. This cherry red Radium daughter just does it for me, ticking off every box on the list when it comes to choosing replacement heifers. Neon Moon is very long spined, carries herself perfectly, packs a ton of natural muscling in a moderate frame and is as deep as they come. Her damn, Rich’s Cherry Bomb 62C, has done a phenomenal job. I cannot say enough good things about her as she is very well uddered, extremely deep while being quite feminine. 95G’s sire, Crossroad Radium, needs no introduction, being known for his incredible calving ease while being able to still put the performance into his calves. When we purchased Primadonna’s sire Commander, we were extremely fortunate to have a new hetro black bull that worked well in the heifer pen but also produced a standout set of replacements. So much so that he worked his way into another age of cows. Primadonna is bred to our newest bull in the herd bull battery CEN Fuel 482F. 849F’s dam is a beautiful black blaze cow that is following in the typical “Primadonna“ females footsteps. Their is a reason why they are our “base” black cow family. They just get better with age. Primadonna 849F is a dark red, big ribbed, sweet heifer that with the mating to “Fuel” should result in a DARK red, well packaged calf. She will be an asset to anyone’s herd. “Daisy Duke” is the first daughter to sell from my show cow Daisy. Daisy Duke is a moderate framed, big topped and ribbed heifer with a sweet front end. She is bred to our new walking heifer bull that we purchased from Nickel Farms. CEN Fuel 482F, he is a tank. As well packaged as they come with that dark red colour. Daisy Duke’s sire Telluride is making nice uddered, good producing females. I am very proud of my consignment to the Canadian Classic. This heifer should have stayed at home, she is the only female we got out of our limited doses of Har-Wei Leo semen. But this is someone’s chance to get a really great Leo daughter. In 2010 we made the trip to Iowa to take in the Janssen Farms production sale, after going through the cattle we quickly found 16W consigned by Ruth Family Simmentals.
