PROJECT NOTES:

1. REFER TO CIVIL, STRUCTURAL, ARCHITECTURAL, FIRE

PROTECTION, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL,

DRAWINGS AS APPLICABLE, TO DETERMINE EXACT EXTENT OF

DEMOLITION REQUIRED BY THOSE DISCIPLINES TO COORDINATE

WITH NEW CONSTRUCTION.

2. ANY OPERATION WHERE HIGH LEVELS OF NOISE ARE EXPECTED ON

THE CONSTRUCTION SITE WILL NEED TO BE COORDINATED AND

APPROVED WITH THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE AT LEAST 48

HOURS PRIOR TO THE WORK BEING INITIATED.

3. AREAS NOT UNDER CONSTRUCTION NEED TO BE MAINTAINED FOR

PUBLIC ACCESS AND CIRCULATION. PROPER SAFETY

PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED.

4. MAINTAIN AND PROTECT THE EXISTING CONDITIONS IN THE AREA

DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

5. EVERY DIMENSION THAT IS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATED TO

EXISTING STRUCTURE OR CONSTRUCTION IS TO BE CAREFULLY

MEASURED AND COORDINATED WITH ADJACENT CONDITIONS. ALL

BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE TO INCLUDE A CAREFUL

ANALYSIS OF EACH RELATING TRADE. REPORT DISCREPANCIES

WHICH MAY ADVERSELY AFFECT FINISH WORK AND BUILT-IN WORK

TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO BEGINNING OF

CONSTRUCTION.

6. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL DIRECTIVES OF THE

OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. IF CONFLICTS BETWEEN DRAWINGS,

SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS OF BUILDING OWNER

AND/OR OPERATORS ARISE, THEY SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE

ATTENTION OF THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE IMMEDIATELY.

7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTAIN ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY,

INCLUDING STORAGE OF MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT, WITHIN THE

CONSTRUCTION LIMITS, AT ALL TIMES BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR

AND ABIDING BY RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OWNER.

8. WHERE EXISTING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, PIPE, OR SUPPORTS

ARE REMOVED, PATCH AND FINISH THE SURFACE AS REQUIRED TO

MATCH THE EXISTING, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

PERFORMED.

10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF INTERIOR AND

EXTERIOR AREAS DOCUMENTING EXISTING CONDITIONS BEFORE

PROCEEDING WITH WORK. ATTENTION SHALL BE FOCUSED ON ANY

EXISTING DAMAGE. ANY SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE OCCURRING DURING

THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SHALL BE REPLACED AT THE

CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.

LANDSCAPE NOTES:

1. VEHICLES ARE TO USE DESIGNATED CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES AS

INDICATED ON DRAWINGS OR CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. IF NO

CONSTRUCTION ROUTE IS INDICATED VEHICLES ARE RESTRICTED TO

SIDEWALKS OR PAVED AREAS. ALL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND

OR VEHICLES SHALL VERIFY THE WEIGHT LIMIT AND RESTRICTION ON

PAVEMENT PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND NOTIFY OWNER'S

REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PLANNED ROUTE.

2. THERE SHALL BE NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT IN ANY LANDSCAPED, SHRUB

OR PERENNIAL AREAS, MULCH BED AND/OR TREE CANOPY DRIP AND

ROOT ZONES, WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION AND APPROVAL FROM

LANDSCAPE SERVICES. LANDSCAPE SERVICES REQUIRES ONE WEEK

NOTICE PRIOR TO ANY VEHICLE MOVEMENT IN THESE AREAS.

3. WHERE ACCESS TO BUILDING REQUIRES CROSSING TURF, MULCH

5. DO NOT COMPACT GRADE WITHIN THE DRIP LINE OF TREES. PROVIDE

APPROVED FENCING TO PREVENT DRIVING OR EQUIPMENT PARKING

WITHIN DRIP LINE OF TREES, PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OR WORK IN

THE PROJECT AREA. MU'S CAMPUS STANDARD 6' CHAIN LINK FENCE

AND POSTS SHALL BE USED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED AND/OR
