    WHATS INSIDE

Students Travel to HondurasFor Molly Miller, travel to Honduras hasbecome somewhat of a family mission.Mollys cousin, mother, sister, and aunthave all volunteered with the Honduran

Mission Team of NH, providing medicalservices at a clinic in Juticalpa, Departmentof Olancho, Honduras. I went on my firsttrip to Honduras last year, in February of2011 and fell in love with the country, saidMolly, a biological sciences major at UNHManchester.

This February, Molly recruited KellieHoward, a friend and classmate, to joinher on a trip to Honduras. I heard Mollysenthusiasm about the trip, she made itsound incredible. Also, it seemed like oneof the most financially affordable ways to

get the experience I was looking for, saidKellie, a biological sciences and psychologymajor at UNH Manchester.

The experience was inspiriting to both

women. Molly recounts an interactionshe had helping a mother with a very sickinfant. The mother was directed to thelocal hospital for emergency care, but laterreturned to update the clinic on the infantscondition. Molly said, This is one of themost rewarding parts, being able to see thecondition of someone improve since manypeople who visit our daily clinics we neversee again.

Kellie said one of her most memorablemoments was when she found out that oneof their interpreters was interested in going

into medicine. Her name was Diana andshe was only in 8th grade, but she asked
