Susie Shellenberger createdBrio Magazine for teen girls published by Focus on the Family in 1990 and is cur-rently still serving as editor. Susie served
as a youth pastor and high school teacherbefore starting brio.Susie is an ordained minister in
the Church of the Nazarene and teachesan Adult Bible Study at her local church.
Shes wri en more than 4obooks, and travelled to every continent inthe world. She has debated Dr. Ruth onFox New and has been featured as a teenexpert on The Montel Show. Her uni-
versity alma mater named her Woman of the Century in 2000.
Susie co-hosted a nationalweekly call-in radio show for teen (Lifeon the Edge Live) produced by Focus othe Family for seven years. She has takemore than 5,000 teens on mission tripsaround the world and instigated the BrioMother/Daughter cruise for Focus on thFamily.
Susie has been featured as akeynote speaker for the Girls of Graceconferences with Point of Grace for thepast four years, and she has also traveleas a keynote speaker of Rebecca St. Jamand ZOEgirl.
In her spare time, Susie enjoywalking her 150-lb. St. Bernard andsometimes eating cereal for Dinner.
