Camp Lutherhaven is a year-round outdoor ministry center that has been creating adventurous, faith-building experiences for children, youth, adults, and families for over 70 years! Our cabin counselors and staff are care-fully selected, Christian, young adults of college age. They bring an excitement for life and a love for kids. Each take part in an in-depth application, interview, and background check process, and then participate in an intense, eight-day training and orientation. They are under the guidance of our camp’s Director of Summer & Youth Ministry and Executive Direc-tor who bring a combined experience of 40 years working with children in a Camp setting.

Olympiad• – This session will delight the all-around athlete in you! Fill your week playing all kinds of sports ranging from well-known games like basketball and ultimate Frisbee, to the more obscure Kabaddi, and of course, some epic GaGa Ball (a Lutherhaven favorite)Mess Making• – Some of the best activities are the ones that make the BIGGEST messes. During the week you will get to have paint fights, try out a shaving cream slip n’ slide, make some exploding art and more. Do not miss this spirited and unconventional Camp experience.Expedition • – Learn basic wilderness skills while you camp out around the beautiful acreage of Lutherhaven in different spots, spending time out in the woods, waters, and fields of Camp. Learn new skills while recording a week’s worth of memories to show family and friends.Art Attack!• – This is your “creative” chance to dive into the craft corner at Camp. SOCCER CAMP $395 / $410This Camp combines the best of both worlds. Campers spend 3-5 hours each day working on soccer skills and small/large group games. The rest of the day is spent participating in camp activities such as swimming, all-camp games, and campfire devotions. The soccer sessions will be led by Rachel Henderson, former collegiate player and soccer coach in Crown Point, IN. This Camp is limited to 24 campers so be sure to register soon! Grades 4-8.

Sometimes one of the greatest ways to make a dif-ference in this world is spelled “S-E-R-V-E.” Join us for an opportunity to do just that as an individual or with a youth group in one of our three Servant Event adventures. Grades 8-12.

1. “Burmese Mission Outreach” is an awesome op-portunity to connect with Fort Wayne, Burmese refugee children and their families, sharing the love of Christ in real, down to earth ways.

3. “Noble Servants” will get ‘hands on’ to begin construction of a new low ropes, challenge course as well as a retaining wall outside the Camp Lodge. Working side by side, while invest-ing in the ministry of Lutherhaven will build this unique commuinty and individual character with a week full of shared, meaningful memories.

The Junior Servants (JS) program is a 2-week volunteer program for high school aged youth that focuses on service, leadership development, spiritual growth, and fun. Each JS is assigned to a cabin they will assist during specific times each day. While other times are filled with service opportunities and group time. Apply online soon as spots fill up quickly. (the process began in December) Open to youth currently in grades 9-12.

1. A camper’s grade level is determined by their current 2019-2020 school year.

2. Campers are placed in cabins according to 1) grade and 2) roommate preference. We do our best to match up to three roommate preferences. Because we plan a ratio of up to eight campers per cabin, groups of friends consisting of five to seven campers are difficult to accommodate and may be split into two smaller groups for housing purposes.

3. The check-in times for camp programs are as follows: • Camps beginning on Sunday: from 1:00-2:30 p.m. • Camps beginning on Wednesday: from 2:00-2:30 p.m. • Camps beginning on Friday: from 7:00-7:45 p.m.• Camps beginning on Saturday: from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
