EQUESTRIAN SECTION - RULES & REGULATIONS
No one to stay on the grounds overnight.No access across track before 7.00am
RULES: The rules and regulations for the governance and conduct of the Cambridge Agricultural and Pastoral Association Show shall be the same as the Rules and Regulations as issued by the Royal Agricultural Society of NZ (Inc) and shall be deemed as if they had been printed in full in this section.
Please note regarding Rule 74, this show will run per the old rules with 50cm brush above the top.
INSURANCE: The Cambridge A & P Show will not be held liable for loss or damage to exhibitors or competitors’ property whilst on the grounds. All exhibitors and competitors must have public liability cover. The Cambridge A & P Show will not be responsible for any claim.
DRUG TESTING: Please note drug testing will be carried out at Shows in the Mid Northern District. These shows will be selected at random by the RAS Horse Stewards designated with this task and will not be known by the Show organisers prior to the day of the show; the animals to be chosen at random by the Horse Stewards.
CONDITIONS: All entries must be in the name of the bonafide owner at the date of entry and must be accompanied by the entry fee. Entry fees will not be refunded except at the discretion of this Association.
In all competitions the names of the competitor and horse must be given when making the entry. No substitutes in competitions allowed unless permission is first obtained from the Head Steward.
In jumping classes all jumps to be taken at a fair hunting pace. The starting point is to be allocated by the Stewards. Two baulks during the competition or omitting to jump one fence will disqualify.
At the discretion of the Head Steward classes may be combined if there are insufficient entries in a class.
Should any horse be late it is liable to lose its chance and the next horse will be called to take its place.
DISCLAIMER: I/we acknowledge that upon acceptance of this entry the Association may use names or photographs for promotional purposes.
ENTRY FEES: Are as noted in each section. Entry Fee includes RAS Levy of 50c per class. This Levy that is returned to the RAS goes towards ongoing training for Stewards and Judges, Drug Testing at Shows and Administration. Your support with this is appreciated.)
HEIGHT CERTIFICATES: A current RAS height certificate must accompany you/ the rider in all classes where applicable.
PRIZE MONEY: For all classes in the Equestrian Sections. The Cambridge A&P Association reserve the right to alter prize moneys paid where entries fall below five (5) no fourth prize, and replace money with product or vouchers. Ribbons will be awarded for all placings listed.
GROUND FEES & LEVIES: RAS Equestrian levy of $1.00 per class and Ground Fees of $3.00 (max $12) per exhibit must be paid with entries.
