Howard Tours for Rotarians

We look forward to traveling with you

107th Annual Convention of

Rotary International

28 May - 1 June, 2016

Seoul, Korea

You are invited to join us as we travel to the 107th Annual Convention of Rotary International in Seoul, Korea from May 28—June 1, 2016. Our programs have been designed to give you freedom and flexibility of choice. From short tours that are economically minded, to deluxe programs designed for experienced travelers, we have offered you a wide range from which to choose.

Howard Tours, which is owned and operated by Rotarians, has been taking Rotarians to the Rotary International conventions since the early 1950’s. Literally tens of thousands of Rotarians have traveled with us. We hope that we have included something that you would like to see and do in the following materials, and hope you will join us. Howard Tours

Howard Tours was founded in 1948 by Joe Howard, Past District Gover-nor of what was then known as District 517, which includes California’s Silicon Valley. We remain a Rotarian owned and operated company, now headed by Brad Howard, also a Past District Governor of District 5170. Our manager, Jolene Bortz, is a Past President of Oakland Sunrise Ro-tary Club. Howard Tours is a primary tour operator and not a travel agency. We do not sell to the general public. We select and purchase our services from the airlines, hotels, sightseeing companies, etc. and then sell the tours directly to Rotarians attending the convention. We do not purchase tours from other wholesalers and resell them as our own. Nor do we “repacked” tours designed for other clients and call them a tour for Rotar-ians. As a result, we offer superior travel service at a greater value. Howard Tours has operated professional, educational, and other special-ized programs, such as this one for Rotarians, since our inception. In addition to providing tours to the International Conventions since 1950, Howard Tours has been an innovator in developing humanitarian travel programs that give Rotarians first hand experience in world understand-ing and peace. These include participation in National Immunization Days in Africa and India, the delivery of wheelchairs to those in need, hu-manitarian grant site visits and many other humanitarian travel programs.

funds, but who want to explore another city during their travels. Highlights Tours - Perfect for those who have about two weeks and

want to see the most popular and interesting cities and regions be-fore and after the convention.

Grand Tours - Tailored for those who want a longer, higher standard travel program. We offer first class or deluxe hotels throughout and an in-depth itinerary to give you a complete travel experience.
