Dear Parents At last nights School Board meeting we were discussing numerous projects, policies and events, as is typical during these meetings, and our recently created Code of Conduct was mentioned. We talked about different ways to share the information with the community in a more regular manner, so, as our newly appointed Term 2 Student Council members met just last Friday to discuss issues and school grounds and recess rosters, etc., I thought it was timely to pop the following Conduct Statement in for your interest. It also helps further explain the purpose of a Student Council: Conduct Statement 12 You allow students to have a voice in their education, safety and well-being. Guidelines 1. Our students learning across all curriculum areas takes precedence over music tuition. Although, we do try very hard to accommodate everyones hopes in this area. Regards Mary Bizzaca Principal

Prayer for the Journey of Healing Almighty and loving God, you, who created ALL people in your image, lead us to seek your compassion as we listen to the stories of our past.

We place before you the pain and anguish of dispossession of land, language, love, culture and family kinship that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have experienced. We live in faith that all people will rise from the depths of despair and hopelessness.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families have endured the pain and loss of loved ones, through the separation of children from their families. We are sorry and ask God’s forgiveness.

Touch the hearts of the broken, homeless and afflicted and heal their spirits. In your mercy and compassion walk with us as we continue our journey of healing to create a future that is just and equitable. Lord, you are our hope. Amen.
