From the Editor
MELISSA MIDDLETON, 2L SBA BOARD 2007-2008
Welcome Back! I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend. I know many of you took the MPRE & I wish you the best of luck in suc-cessfully passing. As some of you may be realizing, the semester is coming to an end. With a little over a month left to go, things are quite hectic. The SBA will be closing down on November 16th, so if you would like to run and advertisement before Winter Break, please send a PDF or JPEG advertisement to [email protected] by Thursday night. The last is-sue of The Grapevine for this semester will run next Mon-day, November 11th. In the meantime, there are plenty of events on the calendar to keep you busy. On Monday, the SBA is sponsoring a Toy Drive & W&L will be having a Bake Sale throughout the week. Also, Christopher Daly from the Transgender Law Center will be on campus, and LCS will have advising hours from 5-6 pm in Bannan Lounge.
Wednesday, O’Melveny and Myers will be on cam-pus to discuss resume & cover letter writing, the Seoul and Tokyo Programs have an informational ses-sion, and German General Counsel, Rolf E. Schutte will be on campus. On Thursday, we have the Public Interest Fair from 11-2pm in Bannan Lounge and there will be a Study Abroad Info Fair from 12-1pm. Additionally, don’t forget to register if you would like to attend IP Pro-tection for International Knowledge and Cultural Expression on Friday. I realize finals are rap-idly approaching, but many of these events have great networking opportunities and amazing food, so don’t forget to stop and mingle. Have a wonderful week! Very truly yours, Melissa L. Middleton SBA Print Editor
