Firstly, I would like to acknowledge all the hard work being done by the staff at Cairns High in getting ready for the online learning systems. I can not forget to acknowledge parents who are taking on the challenge of getting assignments done, working from home and parenting your children from the comfort of your own home. The start of term 2 has seen team Cairns hit the ground running. There has been many a conversation over the phone with parents and academy members , a large number of home visits to drop work packs off, help academy members through their login processes, assisting with computer access, and most importantly checking in on everyone's wellbeing. As we move continue to move forward and "Strive for Greatness" , you will see some changes to our program as we adapt to the new norm. With the lads working from home we have come up with a number of weekly challenges to keep the boys focused on their school work, helping out Mum and Dad around they house and getting rewarded for being a House Hold Legend! Myself and Eddie will keep you informed of the weekly's challenges on a Monday, this will be via an email, phone call and or home visit. This will mean no one misses out A big thanks to all the boys and their families who have got their photos in from our Wk. 1 ANZAC Day Driveway Service Challenge.
