Executive Summary
Cafe Brazil is a restaurant chain that has gained a customer base through their unique variety of food. Located specifically in Dallas, they attract college students due to their location and time convenience. In a time where social media and internet presence is so huge, it is important that businesses establish themselves online as well. We have come up with simple solutions that improve their presence economically and effectively.
WebsiteProblems:● The layout of website● Fonts and colors● Menu● Nothing on the blog promoted
Cafe Brazil as a whole
How we fixed it:● We reworked the layout to make it easier to
look at and navigate● We limited the fonts to only 3 and only used
3 colors● Instead of linked PDF images we put
pictures straight onto the website● Posts on the site now encourage people to
buy t-shirts and gift cards and promotes different menu items.
BlogProblems:● Blog and website on one site● Too busy, posts need to be main focus● Images are not consistent and not all
the same quality● Blog posts don’t promote their food
How we fixed it: ● We created a separate site for the
blog● We made the layout of the website
very simple so that the blog posts are the main focus
● We used high quality images and images only of their food, no computer illustrated images.
● Blog posts now focus on promoting the quality of their food
FacebookProblems:● overall appearance● unattractive images of food ● not enough customer interaction ● poor consistency ● irrelevant apps and app logos● better organization of content
How we fixed it:● Stick to more simple and clean
images for logo and cover photo● Take photos in better lighting and
less distracting backgrounds● use hashtags to get more people
involved and post to the page ● post at least once a day or once
every other day● use apps that can link to Cafe Brazil’s
other social media sites ● notes should only be used for
contests and giveaways not announcements
TwitterProblems:● Blurry header image● Time inconsistency● Frequent capitalization● Random, uncontextualized links● Low resolution images● Lack of interaction with negative reviews
How we fixed it:● High-resolution header image● Scheduled tweets● Consistent grammar● No unintroduced links● Images/offers with context● High resolution images● @replies to customers
Instagram● Cafe Brazil isn’t
posting often enough.● Their photos don’t do
a good job of presenting their food as appealing.
● There is no interaction with their followers.
Problems: How we fixed it:● Make it point of posting
once every day or every other day. (During the highest rated times of activity)
● Put effort into taking high quality and appetizing photos.
● They should check their notifications daily to answer any comments made under their photos.

Pinterest Problems:● Main customer base
doesn’t use Pinterest. Is it worth keeping?
● No organization ● Poor picture quality● Very little update
How we fixed it:● Put Pinterest on the back
burner and concentrate on using their time on other social medias effectively
● If they choose to keep it:o Organize and
concentrate information
o Put their best foot forward
