The Future Aircrew Training Project will develop and implement a new and

cohesive training program that replaces the Canadian Armed Forces’

aging and stove-piped Pilot, ACSO, and AES Op training systems.

Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) /Formation du Personnel Naviguant de

l’avenir (FPNA)

L’Équipe du projet est responsable du développement et de la mise en

œuvre d’un nouveau système d’entraînement cohésif qui remplacera

l’actuel système compartimenté et vieillissant des Forces armées

canadiennes tant pour les pilotes, les Officiers des Systèmes de Combat

Ability to conduct training in the full-spectrum of operations in all possible environmental conditions, in a secure operational and information technology environment.

Operations TempoAbility to quickly reconfigure to support mission rehearsal in support of CAF operations worldwide.

Dynamic ControlAbility to dynamically control the aircraft simulator, consisting of the cockpit and the crew mission training components, from the instructor console to respond to situational changes and new taskings.

Interoperability Ability of the system to be interoperable with other CAF Modelling and Simulation systems.

ConnectivityAbility of the system to connect to the Virtual Battlespace and CAF common synthetic environment including common synthetic environment components such as terrain, weather and computer generated forces.
