1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURESWhen the visibility drops below 1500m and the cloud base becomes equal to orbelow 300' precautionary measures are taken.
1.3. TAXI PROCEDURES- After permission for start-up "EINDHOVEN Ground" will give instructions for
push-back and taxiing.- On RWY and TWY no turns greater than 90^ allowed.- A tow truck is mandatory for ACFT with a wingspan of more than 33’/10m.- ACFT with a wingspan up to 33’/10m shall request permission from ATC before
taxiing on the apron.- All TWYs West of parallel TWY are closed for civil use (except local
aeroclub).
1.4. OTHER INFORMATIONGuidance to parking stands executed by marshallers.RWY 21 right-hand circuit.
2.1. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURESTo avoid noise nuisance, all ACFT with MTOW at or above 2000 KGS shall performan instrument approach.Reduced flaps landing procedures are recommended. However, use of this proce-dure is subject to captain’s decision and safety prevails at all times.Flight operations with the following ACFT types are not allowed: ACI ‘AircraftNoise Rating Index’ categories D, E, and F. Examples of listed ACFT types(dependent on the exact configuration of the ACFT): Airbus A300-B4, Boeing 737-300, 737-500, 747-series, 767-300, McDonnell Douglas MD-series.ACFT executing a visual approach shall intercept the final approach leg at an alti-tude of least 1500’.
2.1.1. REVERSE THRUSTThe use of idle reverse thrust is advised. However use of this procedure is subjectto captain’s decision and safety prevails at all times.
Phase A:Conditions: Lowest RVR equal or less than 1500m and/or ceiling equal or less than
300'.Procedure: No opposite take-off and landings. Limited use of intersection take-
offs. All WIP in the manoeuvring area will be terminated.
Phase B:Conditions: Lowest RVR less than 1100m and/or ceiling equal or less than 300'.Procedure: Separation between landing ACFT will be increased to 8NM.
Phase C:Conditions: Lowest RVR less than 550m and/or ceiling equal or less than 200'.Procedure: TFC will be reduced to one movement a time.
Phase D:Conditions: Lowest RVR less than 300m.Procedure: Airport is below operational minima for arriving and departing ACFT.

2.2. LOST COMMUNICATION2.2.1. INBOUND CLEARANCE NOT RECEIVED
Proceed according the current flight plan to NDB 'EHN'.Maintain last cleared and acknowledged flight level.After arrival over NDB 'EHN', intercept the holding pattern.Commence descent to 3000’, at or as near as possible to the ETO over NDB 'EHN'.After reaching 3000’ leave NDB 'EHN' and carry out an instrument approach toRWY 21.
2.2.2. INBOUND CLEARANCE RECEIVED
2.2.2.1. TRAFFIC VIA STANDARD ARRIVALProceed according the current flight plan to the holding fix specified in theinbound clearance.Maintain the last cleared and acknowledged flight level or altitude.After arrival over the holding fix, intercept the holding pattern.Commence descent to 3000’ at the EAT last received and acknowledged.When no EAT has been received and acknowledged, commence descent to 3000’ ator as near as possible to the ETO over holding fix.After reaching 3000’ leave the holding and carry out the instrument approach pro-cedure to the assigned RWY.
2.2.2.2. TRAFFIC VECTORED TO FINAL APPROACHProceed to NDB 'EHN'.Maintain the last cleared and acknowledged flight level.After arrival over NDB 'EHN', descend to 3000’, if applicable.Carry out an instrument approach procedure to the assigned RWY.
2.2.3. MISSED APPROACH PROCEDURE IN CASE OF COMMUNICATION FAILURE
2.2.3.1. GENERALAll turns shall be the shortest and in case of a 180^ turn that turn shall be to theleft, unless otherwise specified below or instructed by ATC.
2.2.3.2. MISSED APPROACH DURING VISUAL APPROACHTurn to the intended landing RWY, intercept RWY track of that RWY while:
When visual
- remain visual and execute a circuit for that RWY or
When unable to remain visual
- climb to 2000’;- at 4.0 EHV (RWY 03) or 3.0 EHV (RWY 21) climb to 3000' and start the shortest
turn to NDB 'EHN';- after NDB 'EHN' execute the instrument approach procedure as depicted on the
relevant approach chart.
3.1. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURESPilots of ACFT with MTOW at or above 2000 KGS shall adhere to the following:
