INTRODUCTION Where does our trash go? Explain why just throwing away trash is harmful The trash we throw away doesn’t always end up in

the garbage but is left on the ground resulting in pollution and unsanitary living conditions.

Landfills are increasing causing pollution and health hazards as well.

WHO CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE? Anyone can recycle! Even kids can make a difference by

working with their peers to recycle Schools encourage recycling by

providing recycling bins

WHERE CAN I RECYCLE? Recycle bins can be found almost

anywhere especially in schools where students use a lot of paper.

Recycling bins can also be found in parks, recreational centers, libraries, and the workplace. You can even have one for your home!

WHAT CAN BE RECYCLED? Most recycling bins have signs to show

what can be recycled, but the most common recyclables are as follows; plastic, aluminum, paper, and cardboard. Sorting can make the process easier before going to the recycle bin
