Rodenticide Labels Have Changed The top three rodenticides used in SLO County have had some changes to their labeling.
Prior to purchasing any rodenticides, make sure that the application site as well as the method will work for your situation.

Training
Required to be trained every 5 years. (SLO County Ag. Commissioner suggests training every year.)
Does the FL employee handle pesticides? Must be trained every year!

Choose a medical facility which can handle pesticide related emergencies.
Do the employees know where to go in the event of a pesticide related emergency?

ASID FOR FIELDWORKERS
DEFINITIONS: Fieldworkers- any person that performs
activities in the field for compensation.
Treated Field- a field that has been treated with a pesticide or had a restricted entry interval in effect within the last 30 days.
Pesticide- a substance with the intended purpose of “killing” a pest.
What must be on the ASID? Identification of the treated field Time and Date of the application Restricted entry interval Product name, EPA registration number, and
active ingredient. Adjuvant product name and EPA registration
number if applicable.
