Netflix is a Web 2.0 tool that can be used to stream videos, movies, documentaries, television shows, etc. over the internet.

Netflix is the leading online subscription service streaming movies & TV episodes over the Internet

Netflix can be played through gaming systems such as the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, and XBOX 360.

It can also be played through mobile devices, or on any computer.

Netflix offers a 1-month free trial, and after that it is only $7.99 per month.

Netflix can be extremely beneficial to teachers, students, and parents.

Netflix has a very broad Documentaries section, as well as many educational television shows such as Myth busters and How It’s Made.

It if very simple to fast-forward, or go immediately to a certain clip in any documentary or educational television show, so students and teachers can use clips in their projects or lectures.

It is also sometimes beneficial to show entire documentaries in a classroom when teaching certain topics.

Netflix has a wide variety of educational documentaries on many different topics.

Just to name a few: history of Guantanamo Bay, the sleeping brain, the science of babies, how the universe works, the story of America, and many more.

You can sign up for netflix by going to http://www.netflix.com

There is a section that

offers the one month free trial, and that is how you sign up.

After one month, Netflix will start to charge the monthly fee, unless you opt out.

Netflix gives you the option to select the types of movies/television shows that you like.

For educational purposes, you can select documentaries.

You will still be able to see/search for every video that is on Netflix, this just helps Netflix decide what to show in your feed.

To get Netflix on your Wii, Playstation, XBOX, or mobile device, simply download the Netflix app

Once downloaded, you can enter the same username and password used when you signed up

You can download your Netflix account on up to 8 different devices, and can watch on up to 3 at a time.

You can simply scroll threw all of the selections, or use the search bar.

Enjoy thousands of movies, television shows, documentaries, and more instantly!

Netflix can be streamed through gaming systems, and to cellular devices.

Netflix also offers even more selections that can be mailed to you, with no late fees.

Although there is an extra charge to have mailings, the benefit is that the selection is almost doubled.

It would be very beneficial for a school district to have this extra capability.

Netflix can also be used to take clips and use them in presentations.
