Imagery A very typical, oooing and ahhing indie song, with upbeat and fast drumming and a strong, reverby vocal.

The Song?Indie genre aimed at 15-24 males and females

Current audience of band is 16-20 year olds, mainly friends.TARGET Audience

We have discussed with the band and researched music videos that of the indie genre

We came up with a few general conventions, the disjointed feel of the video, not following a strict storyline

Use of seemingly random cutaways to help add to the disjointed feel, and the use of strong blacks but also neutral tones within the colour corrections and lighting choices. Codes and ConventionsDespite the awaiting songs, our original narrative for the video is loose

Disjointed often odd feel.

Visual, colors and cinematography important.

Colours - Use of colourful smoke flares and vibrant colour grading to convey the tone of the song and follow the chorus.

Imagery - Our idea again follows off of the name Imagery, we would set the band in a field, have them appear in an out one by one and throughout the video we would cut back to them. However using cutaways, natural footage of the band and darker imagery of the countryside and people as imagery.
