There are training programs in radiology that lead to a certificate, associates degree, or a bachelors degree.

High School students interested in radiology should look into taking courses that focus and math and science.

Radiologic technologists must be licensed or certified in most states. To be licensed, radiologist technologists must have graduated from a program and must pass a certification exam from the state or from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

The median annual wage of radiologic technologists was $54,340 in May 2010.

Most Radiologists work full time, they are needed in emergency rooms, and imaging centers.

Some work on callThe pay is expected to stay pretty constant on increase,

because they are always needed.

Employment of radiologic technologists is expected to grow by 28 percent between 2010 and 2020, faster than the average.

Hospitals will stay the main employer of radiologists, a number of new jobs oppurtunities will be in physicians' offices and in imaging centers.
