Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority has filed an application with the Public Utility Com-mission of Texas to amend their sewer Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 20465 in Chambers County.
The proposed area to be decertified is located approximately 2 miles southeast of down-town Mont Belvieu, Texas, and is generally bounded on the north by Interstate 10; on the south by Farm-To –Market Road 565; east by Old River Lake; and on the west by Grand Parkway/State Highway 99.
The sewer service area being decertified is approximately 2,809 acres which includes 0 current customers.
