Everyone deserves a good morningWith the GODMORGON bathroom series you can create a well-organised bathroom that gives the whole family a calm start to the day – even if the bathroom is small. It is also made to withstandhumidity thanks to a smart technique using vertically-wrappedfoil. You can even get double washbasins and mixer taps that save both time and water if you have a big family. There’s also plenty of room for storage. Everything from drawers with removable dividers to shallow wall and mirrored cabinets that give you a good overview. And it’s easy to buy, because the washstand and drawers come in one complete package. All you have to choose is the washbasin and the mixer tap.

CAREWipe furniture clean with a cloth dampened in water or a non abrasive detergent, then wipe dry with a clean cloth. All wet marks, should be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration.

Washbasins in ceramic are resistant to most chemicals, except for strong acids and strong alkalis.

Washbasins made of crushed marble should not come in contact with ammonia, acids, strong detergents, hair dye or chlorine.

SAFETYFurniture must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

Ensure that the walls in your bathroom can support the weight of the washstand, and if not, then use legs.

1. Start planning your bathroom by thinking about the wall space you have available for a washstand and washbasin, since this is the centre of most bathroom activities. The GODMORGON series comprises washstands of different sizes and storage capacities.

After you have decided on the size of the washstand, you can choose between different colours and finishes and find the one that suits both your needs and style.

The washstands must be mounted to the wall with or without supporting legs.

The drawers in the GODMORGON washstand are smooth running and pull out fully so you can easily see and reach what’s inside. Pull-out stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far and falling, which is especially practical if you have children. Removable dividersinside the drawers let you customise the space accordingto your needs. You can even maximise the storageinside the drawers by adding one of GODMORGON transparent boxes that fit the drawers perfectly and keepall your jewelery, make up, brushes, tubes and bottlesorganised. Along with all the smartness of GODMORGONdrawers they are also easy to assemble.

2. IKEA washbasins come in different sizes and materials. You can choose a single or double washbasin, depending on your needs and space. The washbasins are made of ceramic or crushed marble.

Ceramic washbasins have a glazed finish and are easy to clean. They have excellent scratch resistance and are very durable.

Crushed marble is comprised mainly of crushed minerals with binding agents. Crushed marble washbasins are smooth, durable and easy to clean.

All washbasins come with a water trap and strainer. The water trap is flexible and can be connected to both washing machines and dish-washers.

3. You can find a wide selection of washbasin mixer taps at IKEA. Choose your tap based on function and design. All taps come with a strainer kit, with the exception of OLSKÄR. All taps at IKEA have a water-saving device that uses 50% less water but ensures that the water flow feels the same.

GRANSKÄR, DANNSKÄR, DALSKÄR and ENSEN taps have a special function – a cold water start that helps you save energy. Usually, you turn on an ordinary tap by lifting the lever straight up, which releases both cold and hot water. But often, the hot water does not reach the entire way up and stops in the pipes. When you lift the lever straight up on a tap with a cold water start function, only cold water is released, which reduces any waste of hot water. To release the hot water, you lift the lever to the left.

4. Now it’s time for you to choose what to put above and around your washbasin: mirrors, mirror cabinets, high cabinets, high cabinets with mirror door, wall cabinets. The combination possibilities are endless. Make your choice based on your bathroom storage needs and space.

5. If you want a different expression in your bathroom you can choose to combine GODMORGON washstand withTOLKEN counter-top and GUTVIKEN counter-top washbasins. IKEA bathroom counter-tops have been developed with special attention to quality, so they are water resistant, durable and will last a long time.
