Wow what a game we played.

The score was seven - one.

We versed the Coogee dolphins.

Everyone played well but Gemma was the player of the day. But Matilda and Lily played well too. And so did the team.

We had Alex and Lara away.

But it was a succsusful game.

Well done the Butterflies.

dolphins go down and butterflies fly up.

We all played good on saturday as we won the game. Our captain Genevieve Ball was also girl of the game!!! Ella Sowter played well with her excellent 2shots !!! Chloe broke her finger but still played well at Center. Elyse sticked to her player as every player tries to in the Butterflys. It is near the end of netball season but all term we have all stuck in well and worked as a group! Good luck all Butterflys in the next game go Butterflys!

(UNEDITED) FROM ABI

4 weeks running and another triumphant win against Mascot…unfortunately one slack Manager has lost the details on the score, but a fantastic effort by all the girls and let’s hope that our winning streak continues after our school holiday break

Butterflies 13 P We played the Saints this week. A fantastic game for two teams vying for second position. In round one we narrowly beat this team by two points, so I was expecting another tight game today, and that's what we got. It was a very exciting game to watch as it was goal for goal. The girls played very hard and in a fantastic spirit. The defence was fabulous, special mention to Ellie who wasn't feeling very well but played brilliantly, constantly intercepting. Player of the week goes to Sian for stepping in as GA, it was only her second time ever as GA. And also to Jordan who put in a great effort as WA/WD just when we needed it. Well done also to Emer who's goal shooting has been outstanding this season. See you all at our next game Saturday 16th of July. Dina & Michele

Butterflies 13yB v Maroubra Lions 3

The Blues have continued in strong form for the last two weeks, winning both of their games well. All the girls have been putting in a fantastic effort on Saturdays, they are a skillful group of netballers and have shown they can perform well playing in various different combinations. It’s a great time for the girls to be able to play in all of the defence, attack and shooting positions, so they can continue to learn new skills and appreciate the complexities of each position on the court. This weeks' 'Girl of the Game' is Sarah, who played a fantastic game in various positions and showed off her accuracy in shooting in the 4th quarter. What a star & well done! Thanks to all the parents, families and friends who continue to encourage the girls and whom display such a positive and supportive attitude to the game each week. We would like to wish the girls who are playing reps all the best for a fun, successful and injury free weekend and we hope that everyone has an enjoyable and restful holiday. Looking forward to the remainder of the season…….. Marianne & Rebecca
