In previous versions of Live Office, the only way to send Live Office objects via Microsoft Outlook was to use Microsoft Word as an email editor and insert the content as an attachment.
Now, BusinessObjects Live Office XI 3.0 supports Microsoft Outlook application natively, that is, it implements an add-in to the Outlook application that provides the same level of functionality to Outlook as is in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A custom Live Office ribbon allows you to easily access Live Office objects from within Office 2007. The Live Office ribbon is the same in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Both the Excel and Outlook Live Office ribbons are shown on the
below.
In Live Office XI 3.0, you have the ability to copy and paste Live Office objects between Microsoft Office applications. The copied versions can be refreshed and updated from within any Microsoft Office application.
Copy and paste is basically respected in terms of what the clipboard accesses. Make sure the data is on the clipboard to ensure it copies correctly.
