Faculty Profile:Austin P.M. is an engineer and an MBA from IIM, Bangalore, with more than two decades of management experience in the areas of internet-based technologies and education. He set upCarstreet.com, India’s first auto web site for SIFY and was the founder and CEO of India’s first financial services portal, PaisaPower.com, funded by ICICI Ventures. He was the Director of the Management Development Centre at LIBA, Director of the Management Development Centre at LIBA, Chennai. He has taught at several well-known business schools. Currently, he is the CEO of EduCentral.in, an elearning start-up focussed on offering employability courses to college students.Prof. M J Xavier obtained his Doctorate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in the year 1984. His basic training is in Engineering with a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from CIEngineering from CIT, Coimbatore and M.Tech. in Chemical Plant Engineering from REC, Warangal. He has been a teacher, trainer and consultant for more than 30 years. He has authored three books and published more than 100 articles in Journals and Magazines in India and Abroad. His book ̀Marketing in the New Millennium’ won the DMA-Escorts Award for theBest Management Book of the Year 1999. He has taught in premier Institutions like IIM Bangalore, XLRI Jamshedpupremier Institutions like IIM Bangalore, XLRI Jamshedpur, IFMR Chennai, Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai and IIM Ranchi. He has held administrative positions like Dean, Director, Principal and Vice Chancellor for over 14 years in different institutions. He has served as Visiting Faculty to anumber of business schools in India and abroad including The University of Buckingham, U.K.,Post Graduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka,Management, Sri Lanka, American University of Armenia in Armenia,The Texas Christian University, U.S.A., California Polytechnic State University, U.S.A. and S P JainInstitute of Management, Singapore and Dubai.
