The Eastern Plains Social Services District (formerly known as Nelson/Griggs counties) has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant I with a beginning salary of $2,476 month. This position involves receptionist duties such as answering/directing a multi-line phone system and greeting walk-in customers. Also, typing agency correspondence, preparation of reports and records, handling mail, ordering supplies, maintaining personnel files, monthly fiscal responsibilities, issuing SNAP Electronic Benefit Transfer cards.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and three years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical or secretarial work. Additional education with major coursework in office support or business or office education may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement on a year-to-year basis. Applicants must have excellent people skills, computer skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Small game, waterfowl and furbearer regulations set

-- The prairie chicken and sage grouse seasons will remain closed due to low populations.
