Panton MCRE

The engine that drives the Panton toolset

Panton MCRE is a powerful content repository

engine built to allow various types of content to be

indexed, stored and retrieved efficiently.

Content such as structured and unstructured

data files, web content, documents, images of all

formats, videos and audio clips, are compressed

and indexed using robust algorithms, so that

voluminous amount of records can be managed

at any given time, without compromising system

performance.

Multi-Content Repository Engine

Within the vast space of Panton MCRE repository,

unlimited workspaces can be created to manage each

department or subsidiary. Within each workspace,

content is managed in an organised tree structure where

users can freely create as many nested folders to best

meet their needs.

Panton MCRE is built to be fully integrated to all Panton

modules and other 3rd party systems to provide fast and

secured access to all content stored in its repository.

System security throughout Panton is controlled by

Panton MCRE, such as tight user access controls that can

ensure the highest level of confidentiality throughout the

PantonWorkflow

Enabler of process automation

Panton Workflow is an enabler for organisations

to replace manual processes with automated workflow

structures. This module offers a powerful Active

Workflow Designer that you can use to customise

workflow processes while applying your organisation’s

business rules. Customised workflows are saved as

predefined templates.

Accessing to content stored in MCRE, information is

seamlessly routed throughout the desired workflow paths

without the need for human intervention and the end of

each process will yield outcomes given your input.

The intuitive and flexible nature of our Active Workflow

Designer caters to the natural needs of users and your

organisation. Workflow structures can be designed by

using drag & drop features, while parameters, rules and

weightage are defined using drop down lists. You can

even determine escalation routes.

10Workflow

Panton Workflow module recognizes the use of

machine-driven processes as illustrated by the

green wheel, within your workflow structure to

reduce inefficiencies caused by repetitive tasks.

Other than using predefined templates, you can

also make use of the ad-hoc workflow function to

select a person “on-the-fly” whom you would like to

route a document to. When the ad-hoc workflow is

completed, you can choose to save it as a

pre-defined template for future use.

Close monitoring of documents and actions will

be carried out throughout a successfully initiated

workflow, and status notifications via email or

other channels can be set up, according to the

requirements of respective customers.

As an added feature for security, you can explore

biometrics - thumbprint or facial recognition,

implement Public Key Infrastructure or incorporate

the use of digital signatures.

reminders effectively throughout an organisation. It is

fully integrated to all Panton modules so that every user

within your digital ecosystem can be kept updated and in

turn, effectively carry out their tasks.

The sending of notifications varies from one organisation

to another due to its respective requirements, and we try

our best to accommodate our customers’ requirements

because we believe in the importance of sending

notifications at the right time, to the right people.

Fully automated document capture & upload

Panton Imaging fully automates the conversion

of your paper-based documents to digital copies. This

module is implemented via the set up of scanning stations.

From your scanning station, you will be able to view

your Panton MCRE repository and its workspaces, and

immediately select the folder in which you would like to

upload your scanned documents into immediately after

scanning.

Should these documents need to be routed through a

workflow before being published to Panton MCRE, you can

do so directly from your scanning station by selecting from

your list of predefined templates. Panton MCRE will also

fully index each document prior to publishing.

PantonActive Form

The Panton Active Form meets the needs of data-centric

processes by enabling users to dynamically create, upload and

implement electronic forms to collect structured data - either

through manual input or automatic population. Active form are

saved and stored in Panton MCRE repository.

Collected data can then be meaningfully used by sending it to

other Panton modules such as Panton Workflow, or even routed

to other 3rd party systems through integration.

What can you do with Active Forms?

Active Forms can be attached to a Panton Workflow or a Panton

Imaging process. Active Forms can be created to be a template

that enables users to collect additional metadata, e-form to be

driven through an automated application processes like Leave

Application, used to conduct e-surveys & questionnaires and

even be part of a Panton application solution like E-training &

certification.

Data collected through Active Forms can be exported to other

file formats for reporting, analysis, safekeeping.

18 Active Form

PantonArchival

Panton Archival serves as an offline storage for

documents and content which have been made obsolete

or inactive. This module enables organisations to purge

items which are no longer actively used from your server

storage, freeing up valuable space for new content.

The archiving process includes backing up content

onto external media storage and creating links to them.

Whenever you need to retrieve an obsoleted document,

Panton will use these links to retrieve the files for you

from the particular external storage.

Depending on an organisation’s requirement, you can

choose to back-up content onto external disk storage or

cloud storage.
