Security Weave® Highly intricate design that is extremely difficult to duplicate.

Micro Print There is a fine line of type on the check that can be read when magnified and that is very difficult to photocopy.

Security Screen The screen ensures that the words “Original Document” will fade, distort or disappear if a check has been copied or scanned by traditional means.

Fugitive Ink Chemical alterations may cause extreme discoloration, and washing the check will likely cause details of the back to fade or disappear.

Security Warning Box The box on the back of the check gives a checklist of security features present on the check.

Chemical Reactive Paper (Primary) Uniquely treated security/safety paper with color indicators that react with primary chemicals to provide recognizable signs of attempted alteration.

Chemical Wash Detection Box A specific white area on the check backer designed to make chemical tampering instantly evident. No color should appear within the box.

UV Dull Paper Reduces or eliminates brighteners from the paper, lowering its reflectance properties. Authentication is possible by comparing originals to ordinary copy bond paper.

MobileMark® A checkbox that allows customers to keep track of checks deposited via mobile deposit capture and helps avoid unintended duplicate deposits of the same check.

Photo Safe Deposit® Icon Provides indication that security features are incorporated on the check and that checks include mobile deposit fraud prevention features.

VOID Pantograph Feature VOID will appear in the warning box if the check is scanned or photocopied.Micro Print

Padlock Icon Provides indication that there are security features incorporated on the check.

Foil Hologram 3D embedded graphic foil provides additional protection against check duplication. This VALID design includes three security features within the foil stamp; multicolor, high resolution and kinetic effect.

Heat-reactive Ink Heat-sensitive pink icon disappears when warmed by touch, allowing immediate verification of authenticity.

Prismatic Background Pattern Attractive, woven pattern; colors become distorted when photocopied.

Intricate Check Border Uniquely designed border is difficult to replicate and often distorts when copied.

Secure Document Background Design Secure Document background appears in the top right corner of the check.

Warning Band Calls attention to features that help verify check’s authenticity.

Anti-Photocopy Dot Pattern A pattern of dots that helps imaging software within enabled colored copiers from reproducing the check face image.

Additional Security Features You Can’t See• True Watermark When held up to a light, safety paper shows a pattern which can’t be scanned or copied. Also offers protection against cut-and-paste attempts.

• Invisible Fluorescent Fibers Integrated, randomly placed fibers that cannot be scanned or photocopied and are only visible under black (UV) light.

• Visible Fluorescent Fibers Randomly placed fibers of various lengths and colors that are visible on both sides of the paper which complicates copying.

• Toner Adhesion Coatings applied to the finished paper that securely anchor toner to the paper, making removal difficult without causing visible damage to the paper.

• Chemical Reactive Paper (Extended) Uniquely treated paper with color indicators that react with primary and enhanced chemicals to provide recognizable signs of attempted alteration. Multiple indicators should be used or improved security.
