a) Job Analysis is a process to identify the job requirements and the relative importance of these for a given job. In this process judgments are made about information collected on a job.

b) Sarah could advertise the vacancies in bus or subway stations or in posters in the street.

c) Sarah could ask whether he/she had worked in a instrument manufacturer before and which one in order to know their experience and then to ask those companies if the job applicant is a good choice. She could also ask if this person does other things during the day to make sure he/she can deal with the schedule.

d) The worker can learn and work at the same time and they are being productive and also that the worker doesn’t waste his own personal time and gets less stressed.

e) Sarah could train those violin-makers (on-the-job training method) in order to be able to make pianos so she wouldn’t have to fire them and they don’t lose the job.

a) A Job Description is a detailed paragraph that tells all what the job includes when working. The tasks, the physical assignments that the future worker will carry out… It says what the worker is supposed to do.

b) Mr. Patel could put in the job specification that the applicants must have good experience in the business and the ability to convince people since it is important to carry out the tasks in the job description.

c) Mr. Patel wants to recruit well-qualified workers because it is his own company and with better and professional workers it will work better and have a much better view and because the workers are few, but they must be good at the job.

d) He might put an introduction to the colleagues since they are few and may want to know each other, and the terms and conditions of the employment to make sure that the employee knows the hours of work and the holidays and sickness procedures for example.

e) Of course it is better because he can’t have his already workers doing the same work but twice. He needs someone from outside the company, everyone does the same.
