Girls in Action will assemble the kits this Fall. Their goal is 75 kits: 50 kits for Men & 25 kits forWomen. Please purchase items that can be used for either male or female.

Check out the WMU bulletin board for pictures of the assembled kits and countdown sheet, as wewill be tracking donations to make sure we get everything we need.

19th Year of Ministry to Local ChildrenLynchburg Baptist Association (LBA)Held August 11 - 13, 2011 at WLBC

The annual Klothes 4 Kids Sale, will benefit children of lowincome families in our community with back-to-school clothing. Through your generosity, thesechildren will be provided two brand new outfits of clothing, underwear, a backpack, and schoolsupplies for only $5 per child.

This year WLBC has been assigned Girl’s Size 16; shirts, jeans, underwear and large socks.Please begin collecting the clothing items assigned to your church, along with school supplies; spiral

notebooks, WIDE rule notebook paper, pencils, pens, glue sticks, rulers, scissors, etc.

Take advantage of the back-to-school sales and collect items over the next several weeks.Bring all collected items to WLBC by Sunday, August 7.

Klothes 4 Kids Sale will need volunteers to help on Monday, August 8, to sort and organizeclothing as well as to work the sale, Thursday - Saturday, August 11–13. Volunteers are also neededto set up appointment times. Please contact Elizabeth Harris to volunteer, 832.0455.
