A new special school to build on the strengths of Bolling and Haycliffe Special Schools, and seek the maximum integration with Grange Technology College.

• the new building to be formed by colliding a BB98 specification mainstream school (Grange TC) and a BB77 special school (BD5) into each other;
• a central heart space captured in this collision forms the core of the new campus;
• the new BD5 special school is located in the quietest area of the site with dedicated facilities and access points.
